Mommy daughter time

Cort and I went to a young women's activity last night to listen to Miss Utah, Jill Stevens. Wow, she really was incredible. She shared experiences that she had as a medic in the Army National Guard in Afganistan and her strong conviction to keep her standards high throughout her life. She also shared how she competed in Miss SSU and won and then onto Miss Utah and the Miss America pageant. She shared her testimony of the gospel and how she shares it with others wherever she goes. It was a great evening and re-inforced how special we are as daughters of our Heavenly Father and that he loves us all.

We love to go 4-wheeling

This is the family down to Mount Carmel during spring break. We had a great time, love to be together and can't wait to go again.

Heads up on Chad

Well, most of you probably know, but if you don't Chad was in a car accident early Saturday morning. He is blessed to be alive and also that he is not paralized. We just got back from visiting him. It is hard to see a strong young man hurting like that. He is in a lot of pain especially with his neck. C-4 and C-7 is where the breaks are. While we were there they took him again for x-rays on his neck to see if the neck brace he is wearing is sufficient or if he will need a halo. He has plenty of cuts and bruises all over his body and they were checking to see if he broke his wrist as well. He can not swallow anything, not even his saliva until his spleen and liver are working properly again. I just wanted to remind everyone to pray for Chad. When I find out anything new I will post it.

A new wonder!

I love the look of wonder and excitement in a childs eyes. Jaxon thought that the balloons I brought home from the orthodontist were great fun.

Happy Get Your Braces Off Day!

Just as promised here are pictures of me with my new smile. I am so excited to have straight teeth, it just feels so good when you run your tongue over them and there are no ridges and sharp points. So anyway, even if you are old like me it's not too late to have braces.

The picture on the left is me with my new glasses and with my braces off. They look pretty good, Dr. Coleman did a great job!
